The increasing integration of engineering in the health sciences promises a revolution in new technologies that will help save lives. The recent merger between Drexel University and the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University, the largest private medical school in the United States, provides a new impetus to further growing the biomaterials and biotechnology research at Drexel University.
