Q: What school are you currently attending?
A: Cornell University
Q: What year will you be starting in the fall?
A: Sophomore
Q: Why did you choose to attend the DREAM program?
A: I chose to attend the DREAM program in order to get research experience in a university lab. Also, DREAM allowed rising sophomores to participate, while many other REUs did not.
Q: Who are you working with, and what research are you doing?
A: I am working in Dr. Fontecchio’s lab. I am researching liquid crystal dispersal in a conductive polymer, which could eventually be used in solar cell applications.
Q: What are your goals/aspirations for the future?
A: After completing a BS in materials science engineering, I would like to earn my masters degree, and then get a job in research and development in industry.
